Sumanth C. Raman is a well known media personality with regular appearances on National and Tamil television channels as a political analyst, anchor, and sports commentator. He is the host of BSNL Sports Quiz on Doordarshan's Podhigai TV channel. On October 2 2016, BSNL Sports Quiz celebrated its 750th episode, continuing to be India's longest running Television quiz and featuring in the Limca Book of Records.
Dr. Raman graduated with an MBBS from Madras Medical College in 1989 and went on to earn a diploma in Child Health and an MD in General Medicine.
