A couple of hours ago, I was trying to enable my webcams by a VPN.
For some cams limitations, I have to use IE11.

  1. Inet_e_resource_not_found Internet Explorer
  2. Inet_e_resource_not_found On Windows 10
  3. Error Code: Inet_e_resource_not_found Windows 10
  4. Inet_e_resource_not_found Internet Explorer

The problem is that it doesn’t load the login page returning the following error code:

INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND

INETERESOURCENOTFOUND 0x800C0005: The server or proxy was not found. INETERESULTDISPATCHED 0x800C0200: The binding has already been completed and the result has been dispatched, so your abort call has been canceled. INETESECURITYPROBLEM 0x800C000E. I had the exact same problem after migrating from Win10 1607 to 1703 and launching Edge; 'ineteresourcenotfound' and I could not access the internet using Edge; I did not try any other methods. When I did the 1703 upgrade on 30 Aug.17, it seemed to go well; the upgrade re-booted my computer three times and all seemed normal. Windows 10 IE INETERESOURCENOTFOUND. After some investigations, I have found that:

  • I have no problem by using Firefox
  • I have the very same problem by using Edge.
  • I have no problem to access to a local webcam (same model of the remote ones).

I discovered that the problem seems to be into IE11 security settings of the Internet Zone profile:

User Authentication -> Logon

Change it from (default value):

Automatic Logon only to intranet zone

to

Automatic logon with current user name and password

I need these settings because IE11 classifies my remote VPN cams outside the Intranet zone.

The day after, I had the very same problem again.

I went to Network Device Adapters window and:

  • open Properties page of the VPN connection.
  • select IP4 in Network page, and click on Properties.
  • click on Advanced
  • uncheck Use default gateway on remote network.

Up to now, this has fixed my problem.
