1Password only asks you to sign in to your 1Password account once to register your browser. After that, you only have to enter your master password to unlock 1Password. Please rest assured that we take your security very seriously and everything is perfectly safe. To make sure Firefox is automatically updating your extensions, including 1Password: Click the Firefox menu in the toolbar and choose Add-ons. Find 1Password in the list and click More to see the version number. Click and turn on Update Add-ons Automatically.

Chrome

Chrome automatically updates your extensions. To check which version of 1Password you have installed:

1. Click the Chrome menu in the toolbar and choose More Tools > Extensions.
2. Find 1Password and click Details to see the version number.

If you see “desktop app required”, upgrade to the latest version of 1Password for Chrome.

Firefox
